WTP atau Water Treatment Plant merupakan sebuah alat yang memiliki peran vital untuk pengolahan pabrik kelapa sawit. Alat ini biasanya dihadirkan untuk mengkondisikan jumlah air yang dibutuhkan pabrik dalam mengolah kelapa sawit. Untuk mengenali kinerja dari peralatan ini, anda perlu memahami beberapa komponen lain yang mendukung sistem kerja pabrik kelapa sawit.

1. Analisa Air Boiler Pabrik Kelapa Sawit

Dalam mengoperasikan WTP, anda perlu menjaga kualitas air boiler agar tidak terjadi kegagalan yang menyebabkan masalah serius. Lazimnya, proses analisa air boiler dapat dilakukan dengan menghadirkan pH air dengan standar aman kisaran 9,5 hingga 11,5. Meski demikian, anda juga bisa menghadirkan air umpan boiler dalam tangki penampungan dengan kisaran pH 6-9.

Selain memahami sistem analisa penggunaan air boiler, anda juga perlu memahami masalah yang bisa terjadi ketika penggunaan air boiler di bawah maupun di atas standar aman. Penggunaan air dengan pH di bawah standar biasanya akan menyebabkan bahan kimia tidak bekerja dengan baik, sehingga memicu carry over dan menyebabkan kerak di sepanjang pipa jalur steam ke turbin.

Sebaliknya, penggunaan air boiler di atas standar dapat menyebabkan foaming. Hal ini dapat ditandai dengan ketinggian tegangan permukaan air yang memicu gelembung pada air boiler. Begitu pula, penggunaan caustik (NaOH) yang terlalu berlebihan juga dapat menimbulkan korosi pada WTP atau Water Treatment Plant yang digunakan.

2. RO Pabrik Kelapa Sawit

Selanjutnya, pabrik kelapa sawit juga membutuhkan reverse osmosis atau RO guna memurnikan air yang digunakan untuk mengolah kelapa sawit. Proses pemurnian yang dihadirkan oleh pabrik kelapa sawit dilakukan dengan menghilangkan ion, molekul dan berbagai jenis partikel lain dengan ukuran yang lebih besar.

Pengolahan yang dihadirkan dalam tahapan ini dapat menghasilkan tekanan baru. Pasalnya perlawanan tekanan osmosis yang sering menjadi masalah kecil dapat didorong oleh parameter termodinamika maupun perbedaan potensial yang digunakan dalam bahan kimia pelarut. Sehingga zat terlarut yang dipertahankan akan mempengaruhi sisi membran dan pelarut murni akan lolos pada sisi lainnya.

3. Reverse Osmosis Pabrik Minyak Kelapa Sawit

Penggunaan sistem reverse osmosis pada pabrik minyak kelapa sawit tentu memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Reverse osmosis atau RO yang memiliki peran pemurnian ini dapat menghilangkan berbagai jenis spesies terlarut seperti bakteri. Untuk itu, tahapan sistem reverse osmosis dapat menghasilkan minyak kelapa sawit yang murni dan bebas dari berbagai jenis partikel.

Tentunya, sistem kerja alat ini mampu menerapkan tekanan eksternal yang bisa digunakan untuk membalikkan aliran pelarut alami. Pelarut alami yang seharusnya bergerak dari area konsentrasi rendah menuju konsentrasi zat terlarut tinggi akan dibalikkan sehingga energi bebas yang dapat membawa berbagai partikel menjadi berkurang.

4. Waste Water Treatment Plant Pabrik Sawit

Setelah mengolah sawit menjadi minyak kelapa sawit murni, anda juga memerlukan waste water treatment sebagai solusi terbaik dapat mengatasi permasalahan pengolahan pabrik kelapa sawit. Alat ini memang sengaja dihadirkan untuk membuang limbah biologis maupun kimiawi dari pengolahan sawit. Sehingga pabrik pengolahan sawit tidak mengganggu aktivitas lain yang ada di sekitarnya.

Berdasarkan sistem proses kerja yang dihadirkan oleh WTP di atas, pabrik pengolahan sawit memerlukan tahapan yang spesifik untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal. Pengolahan sawit bahkan perlu dimulai dengan proses analisa, penyaringan hingga membuang limbah biologis dan kimiawi yang dihadirkan dengan baik. Penggunaan alat ini bahkan dapat menghasilkan minyak kelapa sawit yang berkualitas.
