Rendeman adalah perbandingan antara total jumlah CPO yang harusnya dihasilkan untuk setiap 1 kg tandan buah segar (TBS) kelapa sawit. Hal ini menjadi hal yang perlu untuk diperhatikan agar bisa meningkatkan produktivitas. Untuk menghitungnya bisa menggunakan rumus RKS = (CPO/TBS) x 100%. RKS adalah Presentase Rendemen Kelapa Sawit. Dari hasil teersebut dan dipadukan dengan Alat Analisa Oil Loss tak jarang bisa meningkatkan produktivitas.

Setiap tetes minyak yang terbuang tentu saja berharga, mengingat kebutuhan akan minyak sawit banyak yang harus dipenuhi. Jika tidak ada tindakan khusus maka perusahaan atau PKS harus mengalami kerugian yang besar. Maka dibutuhkan beberapa langkah konkrit agar bisa mengatasi masalah yang terjadi terutama perihal oil loss.
