Sekali ada kerusakan atau boiler sampai meledak, biaya yang harus dikeluarkan tidaklah sedikit.

Beberapa hal yang dapat memicu boiler di pabrik kelapa sawit meledak adalah:

  • pipa yang telah menipis akibat korosi sehingga membuat tekanan bertendensi untuk meledak
  • adanya bagian yang sudah tidak layak, yaitu katup dan manometer
  • bagian dalam boiler pun harus secara rutin diperiksa, karena jika sudah tidak layak digunakan juga bisa memicu boiler untuk meledak.

Prinsip kerja boiler di pabrik kelapa sawit harus sesuai dengan standart yang telah ditentukan. Selain itu, komunikasi antar pegawai yang menjalankan boiler harus terjalin dengan baik. Penting pula untuk memperhatikan jenis dan boiler didistribusikan dari mana. Pilihan untuk boiler yang bagus ada banyak di pasaran, maka perbanyaklah referensi sebelum memutuskan boiler mana yang akan Anda beli. Jangan hanya memperhatikan segi kapasitas boiler tersebut, tapi juga perhatikan kualitas serta harga.

Prinsip kerja boiler pada pabrik kelapa sawit juga bergantung pada bahan bakar yang digunakan. Apakah sudah sesuai, atau justru kurang. Banyak yang menyepelekan tentang bahan bakar, padahal ini menjadi poin penting yang juga bisa memicu ledakan terjadi. Jadi sebisa mungkin mendapat perhatian dan harus diteliti dengan baik. Setidaknya, Anda harus paham bagaimana cara menghitung kebutuhan bahan bakar boiler. Ada dua cara yang dapat digunakan, yaitu dengan metode langsung dan tidak langsung. Pada metode pertama yaitu metode langsung lebih bersifat matematis, maka diperlukan orang yang sudah ahli. Metode kedua juga membutuhkan perhitungan yang rinci, namun lebih berpacu pada angka kerugian dan kredit energi. Keduanya bisa digunakan, namun metode tidak langsung banyak dipilih oleh produsen dengan boiler besar, sementara yang menggunakan boiler kecil adalah yang menggunakan metode langsung.

Masih berkaitan dengan bahan bakar boiler, bahwa ada bagian lain bernama boiler takuma water tube. Terletak di bagian dalam air, ini adalah sebuah penggerak yang berkaitan dengan korosi, yang bisa menyebabkan boiler meledak. Sumber daya manusia yang memadai berpadu dengan alat yang mumpuni dan berkualitas baik, maka tidak ada lagi ketakutan akan kecelakaan selama bekerja.
