Fungsi Pompa di Pabrik Sawit

1. Crude Oil Pump

Pompa yang akan dibahas pertama adalah crude oil pump. Jadi pompa yang satu ini memiliki fungsi untuk memindahkan minyak dari crude oil tank ke distribution tank di bagian atas clarifier.

Crude oil tank sendiri merupakan tangki yang difungsikan untuk menampung serta memanaskan minyak kasar. Sedangkan distirbution tank adalah tangki yang digunakan untuk mendistribusikan crude oil ke bagian clarifier.

2. Oil Feed Pump

Selanjutnya tipe pompa yang ada adalah oil feed pump. Tipe pompa yang satu ini fungsinya untuk memompa minyak yang berasal dari wet oil tank agar berpindah ke purifier. Wet oil tank merupakan sebuah tangki yang berfungsi menampung minyak yang telah dipisahkan di clarifier. Sedangkan purifier alat yang digunakan untuk mengurangi kotoran yang ada pada minyak.

3. Waste Oil Pump

Tipe pompa lain yang akan di bahas di sini adalah waste oil pump. Pompa yang satu ini fungsinya memompa minyak kotor yang berasal dari waste oil tank meunju ke recycle oil tank. Waste oil tank merupakan tempat penampungan minyak kotor dari pemisahan purifier.

4. Vacuum Pump

Kemudian selanjutnya ada vacuum pump. Pada pompa inilah keadaan vakum diciptakan. Ini karena pompa ini berfungsi untuk menghisap air yang ada sehingga terciptalah keadaan vakum di dalam bejana.

5. Dried Oil Transfer Pump

Minyak yang telah dikurangi kadar airnya di dalam vacuum dryer kemudian akan berlanjut menuju ke pompa selanjutnya. Pompa yang dimaksud adalah dried oil transfer pump. Jadi pompa yang satu ini akan membantu mengalirkan minyak melalui magnetic trap untuk selanjutnya dibawa ke storage tank.

Semua pompa yang ada di atas memiliki fungsi dan kegunaan masing-masing tergantung proses tempat pompa tersebut diletakkan. Tak heran jika desain pompa untuk pabrik kelapa sawit banyak memiliki perbedaan dari desain pompa industri umumnya. Ini karena fungsinya yang berbeda-beda.
